Joyce Adams, age 86, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was born June 12, 1936, in Tyrone, to June and Pearl Stinchcomb.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Adams; infant son, Earl Jr.; her brother, Daniel Stinchcomb; her good friend, Ron McCurry; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Glenn) Dunn; son, Randy (Angie) Adams; grandchildren, Chris (Michelle) Dunn, Nicholas (Lynnette) Dunn, Lindy Dunn, Josh (Amy) Adams, Justin (Valerie) Adams, and Jonathan (Amanda) Adams; great-granddaughters, Carsyn Adams and Coralie Dunn; great-grandsons, Hudson Adams, Maddox Adams, Aidan Cagle, and Asher Ortiz; sister, Jerry White; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held Thursday, May 4, at the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Joyce was laid to rest at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City following the service. The family received friends Wednesday, May 3, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
